Beach Holidays in India Tours

A family trip combined with a beach holiday is one of the most enjoyable ways of spending a vacation. For a beach holiday on any one of the unmatchable beaches of India is the perfect holiday that has something in it for everyone. The sun, sand, sea and surf are just the ingredients for mixing some high spirits and enthusiasm in your life!

India is blessed with one of the longest coastlines in the world, and has some untouched and heavenly beach locations that are a delight unto themselves. You will find plenty of isolated coves with long, clean uninterrupted stretches of golden sand that are just the right distance away to give you your privacy, while at the same time allowing you access to nearby towns and their conveniences.

On the West Coast, at the southern end of Kerala, there's Kovalam and Varkala; farther north, Goa has a whole collection of beautiful beaches complete with soft white sand, gentle lapping waves and swaying palms. If you find these a little overcommercialised then head of the tiny ex-Portugueses island of Diu & Daman off the southern coast of Saurashtra (Gujarat), or to southern Karnataka, where the ex-Goa crowd are now throwing down their bedrolls. Over on the East Coast you could try the beach at Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu. In Orissa the beach gopalpur on sea is clean and quiet. While they're not easy accessible, come of the beaches in the andamans are straight out of a holiday brochure - white coral sand, gin-clear water and multicolored fish and corals. The beaches of Lakshadweep, a series of coral atolls off the West Coast, are pristine, but also accessible to those with money to spare.
